With Katia and Marielle Labèque
Six years after their Stravinsky/Debussy video project, the Labèque sisters and Tal have found an exciting new opportunity to collaborate again. Originally conceived by Düsseldorf's Schumannfest, Bilder aus Osten (Pictures from the East) is a unique four-hands piece by Schumann; dated from 1848, it presents an engaging set of variations on a theme in six consecutive vignettes, that share a strong internal infrastructure. The concert will also include a live performance of Debussy's En Blanc et Noir (1st Movement).

Chronograph/NWS Digital Mural
Miami Beach, Nightly, From 25 January, 2011
In collaboration with American artist Casey Reas, Tal has created a site-specific digital mural for the new Frank Gehry-designed New World Center in Miami. Developed exclusively for the building's 7,000-square-foot exterior projection wall, the Chronograph features 365 animated compositions, which through a custom-designed software unfold and transition hourly on the building's nighttime façade. The Chronograph wall runs every evening from 6:30pm at 500 17th Street, Miami Beach, FL.
Below is an newly edited overview clip of the project, including a live documentation of the projection wall and an interview with the artists.
