A short video excerpt based on the 1920s Russian experimental film editing theories of alternating between 2 or 3 layers of footage by slicing them into 1 frame splits and then layering them together. At any given time only one piece of footage is displayed – but the general progression creates a flickering narrative of optical illusions.

Fromat: DV, 40 sec.
Music: Harmonielehre (Part III. Meister Eckhardt and Quackie) by John Adams.
A student film (during an MA degree at Central Saint Martins), London, UK 2005.
