DIVA celebrates the power and creativity of iconic performers, exploring and redefining the role of 'diva' and how this has been subverted or embraced over time across opera, stage, popular music, and film.
/
In an homage to the architecture within the V&A’s Fashion Gallery, for the very first time, DIVA’S video design element plays to the 360-degree panoramic nature of the space, giving prominence to four domed alcoves (spanning 10 metres each). The projection mapping features carefully curated iconic diva images and videos - past and present - to create a bespoke “frieze-in-motion”.
/
The best kept secret, however, are Act III’s overarching “Takeover Moments”, in which the alcoves become alive through a magical transition of extremely familiar and much-loved diva moments, selected from iconic music videos and performances and filtered through the same lens of a uniquely designed starscape realm.
/
Expect to come face-to-face with the likes of Freddie Mercury, Kate Bush, and Beyonce as they dance around the space, inviting you to imagine a star-studded night sky, where our collective pop memories live in perpetual motion.
/
We also created the additional audio-visual moments throughout the exhibition utilising a variety of echoing themes and presentation techniques.

Design and creation of the video for the Magic Trunk Room at the Louis Vuitton X exhibition space on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, California.
Los Angeles is the first stop of this travelling retrospective, exploring the brand’s 160-year history of partnerships, and takes visitors on “an immersive journey through the house’s creative exchanges and artistic collaborations.”
This installation builds on an existing project with Louis Vuitton, the “Time Capsule”, which was launched in Hong Kong in 2017 and has toured over 20 destinations worldwide since, but adjusted the focus for this exhibition to showcase the brand’s rich history of design collaborations through the decades.
The vast exhibition features 180 items from Louis Vuitton’s archives and is spread across 10 rooms and two floors. Featured artists include Karl Lagerfeld, Rei Kawakubo, Frank Gehry and Zaha Hadid to name a few.
The LVX/Rodeo Drive project was open to the public and free of admission from July to September, 2019.

TELFAR is a fashion project established in NYC. In September 2019, the brand was invited to present their Spring/Summer 2020 runway show at Paris Fashion Week.
The show, titled The World Isn’t Everything, brought TELFAR’s practice to the screen – through the commissioning of a collective film, featuring artist Petra Collins, break-out American playwright Jeremy O. Harris, enigma Dean Blunt, post-pop-star Steve Lacy, and rappers Butch Dawson and Bby-mutha, Moonlight star Ashton Sanders and Diamond Singily among very many others.
The film, presented at the legendary La Cigale, mirrored the runway presentation and was accompanied by a live score by the Afro-Parisian DJ/Genius CRYSTALLMESS and the London based sonic artist Klein.

Chronograph* is a site-specific digital mural created for the 7,000 ft² facade of the Frank Gehry-designed New World Center in Miami. This large-scale installation takes its inspiration from the architecture of the building and its surrounding Art Deco neighbourhood. The start of each hour is marked by a graphic event that changes the work’s choreography—either through pacing, geometry or pattern. The software is designed to create periodic cycles that constantly change, creating a fresh experience for visitors each time.
*The Chronograph Wall has been running every evening since January 2011.
